Want to change the name on your adsense account? Here is how to do it without hassle

Having been looking on to changing the payee name on your adsense account? Congrats cause you are reading the right article. Though Google’s Terms and Conditions don't permit transfers of account ownership, but they allow you to update your payee name to fix misspellings, or to make adjustments for changes such as marriage, death, or company mergers. So, if for any reason the name on your bank account changes it will be possible to update your name In most locations, you will have the option to change your payee name within your account by following these steps:

·         Sign in to your AdSense account.

·         Click the gear icon and select Payments.

·         In the sidebar, select Payee profile.

·         In the "Payee profile" section, click Edit.

·         Enter your desired payee name. Note that if you're updating the payee name of a business account, then the top line should be the business name and the second line the contact name for the business.

·         Then, hit the  Save. button
google will acknowledge and start using your new name for the next possible payment cycle. It is also important to know that Changes made before the 20th of the month typically affect the current month's payment, while changes made after the 20th won't take effect until the next month's payment cycle.

But this is restricted to some countries so, if you're located in one of the following countries, you won't have the option to update your payee name within your account. See list of countries below:

If you require a payee name change and you're located in one of these countries, you have to close your account and submit a new application with your desired payee name. see the outlined steps below.

·         Cancel your account.

·         When you receive notification that your account has been closed, submit a new application using your new payee name.

Once your application is approved, replace the existing AdSense code on your pages with code generated from your new account.
