Checking bank account balance years ago was stressful as one had to visist banks or use the ATM just for this purpose. Today, things have been made easy and you do not even require the internet to check your bank account balance. You can now use USSD code to check bank account balance on mobile phone without any hassle.

GTBank USSD Code to Check Bank Account Balance on Mobile Phone

To check your GTB account balance on your mobile you must register with the *737# mobile banking.

After you’ve registered, dial *737*6*1# on your phone. Follow the on-screen command to see your GTBank account balance.

Diamond Bank USSD Code to Check Account Balance

Diamond Bank has a partnership with MTN for their USSD banking, only those on the Diamond Yello account can perform this action. As seen on the bank’s website, it said, “Diamond Y’ello Account”. According to the bank; Diamond Y’ello product is an account combining both financial and telecommunication services as well as loyalty scheme that active MTN customers (targeted mainly at mass market and Youths) can conveniently subscribe to from their mobile phones in line with CBN Financial Inclusion Strategy just by dialling *710#.”

To check your Diamond bank account balance, dial *710*556*PIN# on your phone.

Another way to check is using the 16 digits of your ATM card. Dial 0700-300-0000 and press 1 to see account balance option, insert your 16-digit number followed by the # key. You will be prompted to enter a 4-digit self-service code which must have been sent to you initially from registration. Change the provided 4-digit code to a desired new 4 PIN, you see your account balance afterwards.

Simply dial *901*5#, wait and enter the last 4 digits of your BVN PIN to see your account balance. It’s as simple as that.

Another way to check is via SMS. Compose an SMS in this format – BAL(Space)Account Number, g. BAL 4892018453. Send to 08160000612 afterwards. You get an instant message displaying your account balance. You will be charged N5 for one transaction.
