He used to have about 30 hiccupps every minute for 68years. This is why!

On June 13, 1922, 29-year-old Charles Osborne suffered a fall while working on a Nebraska farm — then developed the most bizarre case of the hiccups in recorded history.

For the next 68 years straight, he hiccupped 20 to 40 times per minute , but doctors could never explain why.

One physician thought he'd burst a blood vessel in his brain, damaging the part of the brain stem that suppresses hiccups. But no matter how many treatments, therapies, and home cures Osborne tried, nothing seemed to help.

But then, on June 5, 1990, they suddenly ceased all on their own and never returned. However, Osborne was only able to live just a few blissful, hiccup-free months before he died in May 1991.
